Amanda Schubert

Amanda has been painting and drawing all her life, but finally decided to follow her passion for art in 2015, turning her hobby into a budding career. Specialising in realistic-style drawings and paintings, Amanda works with a variety of mediums to create her pieces, including graphite, coloured pencils, acrylics, watercolours, and even instant coffee! In 2017 Amanda was honoured to join the White Light team as an illustrator and has been privileged enough to work with several authors on their delightful children's books. When she isn't drawing (which is rare!), Amanda is a loving mother and wife two young children and her husband, and enjoys gardening, playing hockey and reading. Amanda is also turning her hand to writing her own books later this year, which will see her fulfill a lifelong dream.
