Not everyone will understand, but that’s okay
Not everyone will understand, but that’s okay. There are choices you’ll make in life that may not be popular or well received. There will be things you’ll say or do that have people around you scratching their heads and sometimes, even your silence may be misunderstood. You might be judged, ignored or gossiped about, but you know what? None of it really matters. What matters is that you know what’s right for you. You know what makes you happy, and believe it or not, there are people who do understand. While they may be few, these are the people who truly ‘get’ you. These people are the ones who understand what you don’t say. Who support your choices regardless of whether they agree with them or not. Who are there for you when you need them, and more importantly, when you think you don’t need them. They do not judge you. They are simply there for you - no matter what. Don’t be driven by what everyone else might think or expect of you. After all, it is your life isn’t it? What matters is that you’re living according to what you want, what you need. What matters is that you feel at peace, and if it means that there are people around you who may not ‘get’ it, then that’s their problem, not yours. Just do what makes you happy. Make the choices that you know are best for you.
Not everyone will understand, but that’s okay.
